Pacific Ocean

We went to the "coast" (not the beach like I thought it would be) on the only sunny day we had while I was there. I love the ocean and could sit and listen to it all day. . . . . and sew while I was sitting there of course.

We went to a quilt store called "Eddie's" and he was really on the ball. This is a picture of the inside of the elevator (the classrooms were upstairs) and all the new fabric was posted on the wall!

Flowers in California

Thought you might all like to see some pretty flowers -- it was cold in CA but the landscaping/flowers were wonderful . . . .

Progress with frozen temps

Plugging away with the 206 quarter-square triangles and the little stars.
Now to finish the bottom border so I can add all the borders. Amazing what you can do when it is so cold and icy outside.

.

Moda Monday (Jan) small quilt project from Barbara Brackman's "Coming Home" charm pack and a little yardage. The block is broken dishes and the quilt measures 17" x 20".
