Finally finished my star quilt...dotted flannels and hand dyed fabric from Liberty Homestead. decided to hang it as it was a little stiff from the quilting and striking,,,I need to look at it for a while.. The deer was at the birdfeeder standing and licking it clean...Great to see them up and moving around again after all the deep snow. Melva

Jelly Belly

It has been so long since I put something on LOS that I forgot how. Thanks to Bev C's help I am adding my jelly belly exchange quilt. I mainly used mediums and darks in the piano key border as I used such a light setting triangle.

Pacific Ocean

We went to the "coast" (not the beach like I thought it would be) on the only sunny day we had while I was there. I love the ocean and could sit and listen to it all day. . . . . and sew while I was sitting there of course.

We went to a quilt store called "Eddie's" and he was really on the ball. This is a picture of the inside of the elevator (the classrooms were upstairs) and all the new fabric was posted on the wall!

Flowers in California

Thought you might all like to see some pretty flowers -- it was cold in CA but the landscaping/flowers were wonderful . . . .
